I gave this to my granddaughter for Christmas and she "gets" the concept and seems adept at visualizing how the balls will fall before pressing the lever. If they don't perform as she expects, she experiments with different arrangements. The set is very well designed and made.

Purchased for two inquisitive 9 year olds who are absolutely loving it, meaning I have to wait until they go to bed before I get a turn...! The learning is huge, the device is tactile and so pleasing in its smooth operation, the packaging is excellent and the challenges are accessible but develop in difficulty really nicely. Love it - really pleased to have bought this. Will likely treat my clumsy adult fingers to the marble reloader as well.
